去年6月,硅谷高创会声势浩大地首次落地成都,除了50个囊括物联网、智能硬件、游戏、虚拟现实、可穿戴设备、机器人、大数据、SaaS、现代农业等最尖端硅谷原创科技的创新项目,更有许多中美重量级嘉宾到场助阵。


今年5月,硅谷高创会将再次进军“创新天府”成都,邀请高科技行业及相关领域的领袖进行对话,举办专业资深人士的高峰论坛,带领100个硅谷最前沿的科技项目和产品,开放展区展示硅谷最前沿的创新技术和产品,为世界级的创意和技术提供展示、交流、融资的平台。

Fraser Stoddart Co-Winner, 2016 Nobel Prize in Chemistry

In 1990, Fraser Stoddart took up the Chair of Organic Chemistry at Birmingham University where he was Head of the School of Chemistry (1993–97) before moving to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as the Saul Winstein Professor of Chemistry in 1997. In 2002, Fraser became the Director of the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) and assumed the Fred Kavli Chair of NanoSystems Sciences. He joined the faculty at Northwestern University in 2008 as a Board of Trustees Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Center for the Chemistry of Integrated Systems (CCIS). Stoddart was appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as a Knight Bachelor in her 2007 New Year’s Honours List for services to chemistry and molecular nanotechnology. In this same year, he won the King Faisal International Prize in Science. In 2010, he was the recipient of a Royal Medal, granted by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and presented by Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2016 for his design and synthesis of molecular machines.

Steve Mann Chief Scientist, Meta; “the father of wearable computing”

Prof. Steve Mann, PhD (MIT), P.Eng. (Ontario), is widely regarded as "The Father of Wearable Computing" [IEEE ISSCC 2000]. His work as an artist, scientist, designer, and inventor made Toronto the world's epicenter of wearable technologies back in the 1980s. In 1992 Mann took this invention from Toronto to Massachusetts Institute of Technology, founding the MIT Media Lab's Wearable Computing project as its first member. In the words of the Lab's founding Director, Nicholas Negroponte: "Steve Mann is the perfect example of someone... who persisted in his vision and ended up founding a new discipline.". Mann also invented the smartwatch videophone (wearable computer) in 1998, which was featured on the cover of Linux Journal in 2000, and presented at IEEE ISSCC2000, 2000 February 7, where he was named "The Father of Wearable Computing". Some of Mann's other inventions include HDR (High Dynamic Range) Imaging, now used in nearly every commercially manufactured camera, and the EyeTap Digital Eye Glass which predates the Google Glass by 30 years. Now as the Chief Scientist at Meta, a California-based startup, wearable AR glasses will be brought to a mass market. Recently, Mann(as one of the co-founders, and as the Chief Scientist) and his team successfully raised US$73 million in funding to support Meta Vision digital eye glass.

Rick Rasmussen Professor, University of California, Berkeley; Director of Startup Programs, Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology

Rick Rasmussen is an Industry Fellow and Member of Faculty at the University of California, Berkeley. He is the Director of Startup Programs for the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology where he is responsible for creation of new programs centering on Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation Mr. Rasmussen serves as Head of Chief Mentors for the European Innovation Academy and will be hosting over 300 students in Lisbon He is Managing Director of Concordia Ventures, a strategic management firm that assists over 20 governments and economic development agencies worldwide Mr. Rasmussen is a Silicon Valley native that has been part of five IPOs, three billion dollar exits, assisted over a dozen accelerators and mentored over 1000 companies. He is active member of the Sand Hill Angels investment group. Mr. Rasmussen has an EECS degree from UC Berkeley as well as a dual MBA degree from UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business and Columbia's Graduate School of Business in New York City.

Bei Zhang Vice president & Policy Research Institute Dean, Didi

Zhang Bei,Vice president and Policy Research Institute Dean in Didi. Prior to joining DIDI, Zhang Bei served as a government official in the transportation department of China’s Ministry of Transport, where his main responsibilities included policy making as well as industry standard developing. He has a deep understanding about regulatory policy making and related legal issues of Internet plus Transportation. Zhang Bei holds a PHD degree of transportation planning from Beijing Jiaotong University.

Henry Fan is the Co-founder and managing partner at Crossvine Capital, a private equity fund investing in Silicon Valley technology and real estate ventures, and with $75M under management within Blue Flame Fund. Henry is also a venture partner of an early stage VC fund called Struck Capital, which has completed 18 SPV’s, co-managing with other local venture capital firms, with investment in companies in Internet, Mobile, VR/AR, AI, FinTech, Cloud and Clean Tech areas. And recently one of the investment went IPO in the US. Now Henry is a managing director of Cagan Capital, with a $200M venture capital fund investing in late-stage Silicon Valley technology companies. Henry has over 18 years of experiences in high-tech industries at senior management roles including senior director and VP of product management, marketing and business development in several Fortune 500 technology companies including Cisco, Trend Micro, Netgear and SanDisk Corp. He has led the sales, marketing, strategic customer engagement and OEM/ODM, and has managed business line of over $500M annual revenue as well completed 4 acquisition deals. Also, Henry was one of the initial marketing executives at a start-up and drove its acquisition by Alcatel. Henry graduated magna cum laude in computer engineering from University of British Columbia and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business.

Rana Gujral Founder & CEO, TiZE; Writer, TechCrunch & Forbes

Rana is an Entrepreneur, executive and an Investor. Rana founded a leading enterprise SaaS startup TiZE and is a member of councils for Forbes and YEC - both invitation-only communities for innovative entrepreneurs and executives. Rana is a columnist at TechCrunch and Forbes and advises several startups. Rana was recently listed among Top 10 Entrepreneurs to follow in 2017 by Huffington Post. In his role as Founder and CEO of TiZE, Rana raised the initial round and led the company through its formative traction. Prior to TiZE, Rana was recruited to be a part of the core turnaround team for Cricut Inc. At Cricut, Rana led the initiative to build a first of its kind, innovative products for the DIY community and affected the turnaround of Cricut’s EBITDA position from bankruptcy to profitability within a span of 2 years. Previously, Rana held leadership positions at Logitech S.A. and Kronos Inc. where Rana was responsible for the development of best-in-class products achieving billions of dollars in revenue and contributed towards several award-winning engineering innovations. Stefan Hofmeyer Partner, Global PMI Partners

Stefan Hofmeyer is a veteran of Silicon Valley and San Francisco start-up business environments since the mid 1990s. He is Partner at international services firm Global PMI Partners, Chairman and Founder of corporate development firm Broad Reach LLC, and Board Member of ProBalanceTV, an emerging healthcare internet portal for active lifestyles. As author and keynote speaker, Stefan most recently contributed to the book Cross-border Mergers and Acquisitions, published by Wiley & Sons, scheduled to be released in Chinese language Fall of 2017. Stefan has previously keynoted the 2016 Outbound M&A Conference in Beijing and the 2012 APEC Meeting on Smart Cities and Intelligent Industry in Langfang, China. Niklas Karlsson Vice President of Research and Chief Scientist, Aol Platforms

Dr. Niklas Karlsson is the Vice President of Research and Chief Scientist of AOL Platforms. He is a visionary research leader with more than 16 years of industry experience in building R&D teams and developing algorithms for online advertising and for mobile robotics. His work on feedback control and artificial intelligence has resulted in many successful products and 29 issued patents. From 2002 to 2005 he was the principal investigator of navigation and feedback control at Evolution Robotics, where he invented the break-through vSLAM technology (now used as the brain of a well-known market leading autonomous vacuum cleaner). In 2005, Karlsson joined Advertising.com (AOL) to build the research group, responsible to develop the next generation advertising campaign control system. Under his hands-on leadership the team has invented many components for optimization, control, and estimation that are now key components in the AdLearn optimization engine serving billions of ad impressions every day and delivering advertising budgets totaling many hundreds of millions US dollar each year. As the Chief Scientist he now defines the vision and directs the work on extremely big data sets and remarkably complicated dynamical systems. Niklas received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of California at Santa Barbara in 2015 in recognition of "outstanding application of systems engineering principles to the field of online advertising", and has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences in academia and industry.

Andra Keay Managing Director, Silicon valley Robotics

Andra Keay is the Managing Director of Silicon Valley Robotics, non-profit industry group supporting innovation and commercialization of robotics technologies. Andra is also the founder of the Robot Launch global startup competition and the cofounder of Robot Garden, a robotics makerspace that teaches Interaction Design and Theory. Andra has a particular interest in understanding diversity and representation in robotics and AI and started the Women in Robotics community. Andra is a mentor and advisor to startups, accelerators and think tanks, with a strong interest in commercializing socially positive robotics and AI.

Phil is CMO and VP Commercial Sales at 5D Robotics and joined the team in 2015 leading our charge into Industrial, Mapping & Inspection, and Automotive markets. Previously, Phil served as General Manager for Microsemi's Systems and Software Division where he managed the full P&L. Microsemi acquired Symmetricom in 2013 for a 50% premium, and Phil served Symmetricom in many positions including VP Global Sales & Business Development, VP of Marketing and of VP Products. Phil has lived and worked in London, Munich, and Hong Kong driving businesses to grow across multiple market verticals and geographies. During his tenure has brought to market many new solutions in precise timing, broadband, and video analytics to Fortune 1000 companies. He began his career as a Senior Engineer at Bell Northern Research in Ottawa. Phil holds a BSc. from Queen's University at Kingston in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

Jack J. McCauley Founder & President, McCauley Labs; Co-founder, Oculus VR

To call Jack McCauley a builder is an understatement. The inventor has had a fascination with machines and engineering since early childhood, even earning $1,000 in savings bonds from Tinker Toys as a 9-year-old in honor of his earliest inventions. That tinkering instinct has served Jack well through a storied career spanning several disciplines and industries in the technology arena. Jack’s technical genius has permeated consumers’ everyday lives and some creations are synonymous with popular entertainment. He’s best known for inventing the first scrolling feature of the computer mouse and for engineering the controllers for the revolutionary Guitar Hero video game series which ignited the multi-billion dollar music rhythm games genre. Jack later joined forces with Palmer Luckey as Co-Founder and Chief Engineer at Oculus VR to create the Oculus Rift, a consumer virtual reality head-mounted display. Jack is credited with designing the DK1 and DK2 for developers. In addition, he was one of the originators of the universal serial bus (USB) port standard for computer peripherals. As an expert in microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), Jack pioneered use of MEMS technology in gaming. His ingenuity has been recognized with industry accolades including the prestigious Red Dot design. Currently the Founder and President of McCauley Labs, an incubator that brings clients’ ideas to the mass market, Jack applies his innate ability to recognize the potential of new concepts and seamlessly adapts designs to cultural preferences and practices. He built McCauley Labs on the principle of mentoring for success to guide and empower innovators to realize their vision. Jack teaches Design Innovation at U.C. Berkeley’s recently unveiled Jacobs Hall. He’s proud to be able to inspire new generations of engineering students at his alma mater.

Simon See Director and Chief Solution Architect, Nvidia AI Technology Center

Prof Simon See is currently the Solution Architecture and Engineering Director and Chief Solution Architect for Nvidia AI Technology Center . He is also a Professor and Chief Scientific Computing Officer in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Previously A/Prof See is also the Chief Scientific Computing Advisor for BGI (China) and has an position in NanyangTechnological Univ (Singapore) and King-Mong Kung Univ of Technology (Thailand) . Prof See is currently involved in a number of smart city projects especially in Singapore and China. His research interests are in the area of High Performance Computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, machine learning , computational science, Applied Mathematics and simulation methodology. Prof. See is also leading some of the AI initiatives in Asia Pacifiic . He has published over 100 papers in these areas and has won various awards. Prof See is also member of SIAM, IEEE and IET. He also committee member of more than 50 conferences. Dr. See graduated from University of Salford (UK) with a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and numerical analysis in 1993. Prior to joining NVIDIA, Dr See worked for SGI, DSO National Lab. of Singapore, IBM, International Simulation Ltd (UK), Sun Microsystems and Oracle. He is also providing consultancy to a number of national research and supercomputing centers.

Feng Tan Director, Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park in Silicon Valley

Appointed by Beijing government and enterprises, Tan Feng has been working in Silicon Valley for the past 30 years to assist the localization of China's hi-tech zones and technology enterprises overseas. His work includes: referring high-end talents and projects back to China for business; assisting Chinese communities and innovation and entrepreneurships overseas; connecting resources from Silicon Valley for Chinese cities and hi-tech zones. He has a broad network of people in Silicon Valley, plenty of creative business resources and rich experience in practical work. Mr. Tan has a great contribution in setting Silicon Valley offices and exploring innovation activities for Chinese local governments and enterprises. He is an important connecting point between Silicon Valley and China. Tan Feng has served as the director of Beijing Zhongguancun Science Park in Silicon Valley for many years. He has previously served as the general counselor of the New York Stock Exchange carbon emissions company, VP of Beijing Zhongguancun Technology (Holdings) Co., Ltd., VP of Beijing Stone Group, the Overseas editor of People's Daily and many other positions. He graduated from Peking University, Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, East Asian Research Center of Stanford University. Right now he is also a professor at the Innovation Institute of Silicon Valley, associate professor at Fudan University Innovation Institute and professor at Dalian Innovation Institute.

Sandy Verma Senior Director, AT&T Asia Pacific for Internet of Things Strategy

Sandy Verma leads AT&T’s Internet of Things Strategy & Solutions in Asia Pacific. Sandy brings his U.S. experience as a strategic management executive, product innovation integrating Mobility and Wired, comprising of Cloud, VPN, and Network Security solutions. Now based in Hong Kong, Sandy has a dynamic track record of more than a decade in the wireless industry. Sandy joined AT&T in the United States since 2001. He had identified the multi-billion small-business mobility market and was hand-picked to lead and establish the distribution and sales strategy across the U.S during AT&T’s merger with Cingular Wireless. Previously he held the General Manager and Mobility Operations role in Atlanta GA, with direct responsibility for more than 550 staff and a large P&L. He was honored by City of Los Angeles for his pioneering work developing and launching the first public safety wireless solution for the City. Sandy has also served as a Captain in the Indian Army and was decorated with the Commendation Medal by Commander in Chief of Armed Forces. In 2012 and 2013, Sandy was honored President’s Volunteer Service Award, the top award for community work in the U.S.

Ranger Wang has been in the Silicon Valley for many years, and is specialized in cross-border angel investment. He is the founder of the Skywood Capital Foundation, and serves as the advisory committee member of RocketSpace Incubator (the incubation of Uber's 16 unicorn companies). He is the director of many Sino-US companies, one of the most distinguished one is the co-founder and vice chairman of Play Tech Center in Xi’an, China. Previously, Ranger had great contribution to the marriage of Hainan Airlines and RocketSpace.

Since 2014, Dr. Xiang Luo is appointed as the Director of United Nations Office for Project Service (UNOPS)-China, Mongolia & Korea, to constructively work with China Government and relevant agencies in project management, global procurement, infrastructure, specialized trust fund management, and multilateral resource consolidation. In year 2000, Dr. Luo has joined United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO, Beijing) & IEDC (Washington, DC) for many years previously, responsible for the strategic planning of regional industrial clusters, program implementation, resource mobilization, inbound/outbound investment promotion, and risk management in various industrial development, including life science and health industry, cleaning industry, renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, new materials, IT plus, e-commerce and service outsourcing industries. He has facilitated the cooperation between leading private equity firms and China official entities/governments, and has successfully forming industry sustainable development funds for over billions RMB. Dr. Luo holds a PhD on Business Administration, an international MBA, and a senior venture capital and private equity-training certificate from Harvard Business School. Steve Westly Founder & Managing Partner, The Westly Group

Mr. Westly is the Founder & Managing Partner of The Westly Group. He and his partners have built one of the larger sustainability venture firms in the US with close to $330 million under management. The Westly Group focuses on capital efficient, high growth companies in the sustainability, sharing economy, and the Internet of Things spaces.  The firm has blue chip investors including Citibank, Duke Energy, RWE, SK Telecom. The company has invested in 33 portfolio companies, three of which have gone public on NASDAQ, including Tesla Motors. The Net IRR on the investments Mr. Westly has led is 40%. Prior to founding The Westly Group, Steve Westly served as the Controller and Chief Fiscal Officer of the state of California – the world’s sixth largest economy. As Controller, he chaired the State Lands Commission and served on 63 other boards and commissions, including CalPERS and CalSTRS, the nation’s two largest public pension funds, which together invest more than $350 billion. In the 2008 election cycle Steve served as a California co-chair of the Obama for America campaign. He also served on the Secretary of Energy’s Advisory Board as a representative for the venture capital industry. Before running for office, Steve helped guide the online auction company eBay through its period of most rapid growth, serving as the Senior Vice President of Marketing, Business Development, M&A and International. Steve helped bring eBay to Europe and Asia and developed the marketing and acquisition strategies that paved the path for the firm’s exponential growth. Steve helped take eBay public in 1998. Steve also served as an executive at a number of other technology firms including Netcom, WhoWhere?, Bridgemere Capital, and SPRINT. Steve began his career in Washington, D.C., where he worked first on Capitol Hill and later in the Office of Conservation and Solar at the U.S. Department of Energy. Steve returned to California to become special assistant to the President of the California Public Utilities Commission. While there, he published two books on alternative energy and the utilities. Steve holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, where he served as a lecturer for five years. Steve and his wife, Anita, run the Westly Foundation, which provides education and health care services for children and underserved communities throughout California. They have two children in high school.

Xiyu Zhang General Manager, NHA Innovation Ventures

Last year August, HNA Group invested 336 million dollars in to the Silicon Valley top technology incubator RocketSpace (incubated Uber) to create a venture capital platform NHA Innovation Ventures. Now as the General Manager of NHA Ventures, Zhang Xiyu is responsible for daily operations of HNA Ventures and the preparation of the opening of RocketSpace in China. Previously, Zhang Xiyu served as Deputy General Manager of Public Relations Department of NHA EcoTech Group.
